you are a delivery man and you always go to this ladies house who always orders fake plants off of ebay. this one plant is big.. so she says can you bring it inside you say sure. you know this lady likes you… but before you know it she does some wreck shit and puts a napkin over your nose … you fall out.. then awaken to her riding you. its rape. you dont want it. you dont want the sex. she raped you .. what do you do?
ps. she ugly as a mugggg
What do I do?
I don’t know… Be raped? I mean, hell, I’ve never really been with an ugly girl before, so I already know I don’t want it.
Seriously kidding. Ugly people are people too. Just less of people. But I’d probably karate chop her in the neck, yell, “That’s mah purse! I don’t know you!” Get up, skip putting my clothes on, run for the nearest Dairy Queen and see if I can still order a Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard while naked.
Yeah, that’s what I’d do.
It wouldn’t be advisable to hit her or do anything that would leave marks on her. Because if there are signs that you put your hands on her she can easily say you were the aggressor who raped her. And if its a man’s word vs. a woman’s word…. and they have signs that your penis has been in her vagina………. your ass is going to jail. Especially if you’re black or latino.
The only strong piece of evidence that would be in your favor is the fact that you’d have traces of chloroform (or whatever she used to render you unconscious) on/in your nose.
I love Illmatic. It's my favorite album. That being said, I've always wondered why people put it on such a pedestal. It really seems to be a love it or hate it album. It's a very focused style that doesn't really have broad appeal potential. So I completely get it when people say they didn't like it. A lot of other Nas stans get so damn defensive over it though.
My favorite Nas album is God’s Son.
I really wasn’t feeling him at all until the last decade rolled around.
Could you being from the west coast be part of the reason you think Illmatic is boring? Cultural connections to music can affect how much we enjoy it, so maybe that's part of it? Unless I've missed a post that explains a completely different reason of course.
That’s totally possible.
But you should keep in mind I think 36 Chambers was dope as fuck. I believe that album came out the very same year.
I’ve gone on record several times saying I don’t like Illmatic. And as far as 2pacalypse Now goes…. 2pac was one of those artists who grew into their greatness. There are some emcees who drop a classic debut album and then they spend the rest of their careers trying to duplicate that success. 2pac on the other hand got better and better with each subsequent album. 2pacalypse Now was a good album but its not the classic that Ready To Die is.
